A. If you are an experienced candidate, you are expected to know the basic work-profile according to your role. Always read the job-description provided by the employer / recruiters. Check about the employer, study their operation and try to understand their business-model.
B. If you are a fresher, your educational qualification, academic performance, your confidence and your willingness to work are important.

Proper subject. Send to right people. Keep other person (your senior team-members) in CC. Necessary information. Your signature at the end of the email. Attachment if required.
Email folder management.
Contacts management.
Communication skills :
Try improving your verbal communication skills. With fellow team-members, with superiors, with clients.
Try improving your written communication skills. Use Google-translate and grammar tools. Increase your vocabulary.
Questions being asked in the interview :

General questions (they are general but very important).
Examples :
1. Tell me about you.
2. Why do you want to join us?
3. Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?
Note :
Do not read so much about them a day before the interview. Keep yourself always ready. Be honest. Be sincere. Be straight forward.

1. Why do you want to quit from your current job?
2. What is your biggest achievement in your professional career?
3. Why should we hire you?
4. What if you are selected here but you get more hike in your current organisation?
